Is there a way for me to back up my Angry Birds install so that if I do a wipe or whatever, I don't have to start from the begining.

Anyone know what I'm asking?

I don't believe that will save his place in the game (even though it will say "restore app + data"). That's what you're trying to do right?

Well if you're rooted you can use titanium backup to save all that stuff.

I think it saved my levels after my last data reset. Can't be too sure though.

It may. I know it doesn't with Homerun Battle though. Open, if that's what you're trying to do, look up the thread on backing up Homerun Battle 3D...should work the same way with Angry Birds.

I just deleted it re downloaded it, no progress. Restored the data through titanium and all my levels were back. So its an option.

No worries. After doing a batch restore if you notice your progress didn't come back try restoring it again individually. That happened to me the first time I did a factory data reset.

Awesome. I'm going to give that a shot as well. I've done a crap load of rooting and flashing with my D1 over the year, but I've never had a reason to download Titanium before now. Hope I can figure out how to use it right to make this work!

Thanks!

Wait - anyone know if this root method clears and wipes the data on the phone? If so, how can I root so I can install and back up with Titanium? You know, since I'm still "un"rooted.

Thanks!

Go in to titanium backup and find angry birds and then select restore. It will bring up a screen that will ask restore app restore data or restore both, just restore both.

There you go. Now just remember to back it up again before you do any wiping or when you restore it it will be as it is right now, so you'll lose any progress you make after now if you don't keep the backup up to date, if that makes sense.
