Those of us without the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 2013 may have been foaming at the mouth waiting for the new Android L Developer Preview build to show up on our own device. Google recently released the source code to AOSP for Android L on a list of Nexus devices. However only portions of the Nexus 4 Android L source code were released to AOSP meaning that a Rom can't be easily built for this device. No worries developers "sykopompos", "defconoi", and "ben1066" have built an Android L Rom for the Nexus 4 based on the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 2013 system images. This Rom is not entirely functional for now. This Rom is daily driver ready as bugs are very limited.

The Rom's developers have noted that Camera, Bluetooth, Swipe-to-phone application, SELinux and Knox, and SuperSU are not working on this build yet. You will be able to flash this in your custom recovery, but please do be sure to make a full nandroid backup prior to flashing this rom just in case you do decide that you can't live without the camera and bluetooth. Head to the link below for the downloads.
