Android > Apple

I wonder how much of it is a result of Apple trying to take on Android like features?

I'm thinking Google and Android manufacturers have taken their lumps early on and have learned how to get around such issues. Apple never experienced those issues and are now learning to deal with them.

It's nice to see Android manufacturers finally catch up with Apple. That article I think is more of a testament of how far Android had come vs how far Apple has fallen.

Well imagine that! Motorola is at the bottom with Asus for failure rates of the top five manufacturers. Gee, sounds like us Moto fanboys have something.

A result I say of Lenovo. Say what we would about Motorola back in the day after the droid, blur is ugly, they locked the doggone bootloaders, they cave to Verizon not updating and all the bloatware, we even complained about how they would barely be competing with the market while Samsung was challenging it. But I do not remember anyone ever complaining about build or a lot of QA issues. Motorola stood by their product including blur until the end. Consumers said they hated it and they kept trying to convince us to love it.

If Motorola can't hang their hat on making quality devices then I do not see how they stand to even be in the market anymore. It's a matter of time before the casual fans start seeing lenovo and not Motorola.
