Amazon App Store wont let me get the free app of the day on my phone. Keeps making me try and enter my credit card info. Is this normal?

Yea u have to make an Amazon account kinda like u need gmail to use android market

Yeah I'm signed into my Amazon account. It still wants me to confirm my payment info.

I wouldn't be trying these apps if they weren't free.

Needs credit card. Won't allow you to even use a Amazon card.

Even if you put in your credit card, it doesn't charge you anything when you get the free apps. They just need a card on file, just in case you want to buy any apps. I thought this was strange at first also, but after about 3 months of getting free paid apps from amazon, I haven't been charged a dime. It's a great service and I would highly recommend it.
