ok, so i was trying to download a rom. i don't remember what it was, but when i went to restart or whatever, i got stuck on the motorola logo. i decided that i would just wipe everything, because i was having a wifi error, so in my mind i was thinking that i might be able to restore my wifi by just wiping out everything and starting over.

now i'm still stuck at the motorola logo...when i go into recovery, there's nothing. i don't know what to do when i get into bootloader.

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!? don't make me switch back to my blackberry!!!

Did you do a backup? If so, restore it from recovery.

I have two answers for you -- one is yes, you have a brick, and you should send me your phone immediately! I will even pay for shipping! :)

Two is no, you don't. Take a deep breath and tell me what you mean by "nothing" in recovery. How did you wipe your phone out? Were you running ROM Manager and ClockworkMod Recovery at the time? What version of a bootloader do you have?

all my backups are gone. and no zip?

bootloader...let me try and get in there again. i've also been having a hard time getting into that...that's direction up or left...and power button, yes?

Did you format your SD card too? If not then RM lost your recoveries. Which happens a lot. A LOT lot. Like, a LOT lot LOT LOT lot LOT lot.

And it's power off, d-pad up, hold, power on.

Low battery is BAD. 2C 7C isn't good, but it's not bad.

Okay. Do you have any way to charge your battery outside of your phone/spare battery/friend with droid 1/2?

Actually, that is the most recent bootloader -- that's why it's not good but not bad. The 2C 6C bootloader would be preferable, but we work with what we have. :)

And good that you can get another phone to swap batteries with. Means you don't have to perform surgery on a USB cable.

Pop it in and try to boot. See what happens. If it's just the bootloader then we're at SBF stage. If you can get into recovery we can move on from there.
