First post here...
I've searched high and low on droidforums as well as via Google for a solution to my problem, and came up empty. Basically, while I'm on a call my alerts are SUPER loud. When I receive a text message or email, the phone will vibrate and emit the same tone at the same volume as if I were not on a call. The one that really hurts my ears is the 'low battery' alert; it has caused my ear to ring at times.
It feels as if my phone does not recognize that I'm actually on a call when alerts come in. I'm on 2.2 but this has been going on since I got the phone with 2.1.
