Welcome to the forum, drstevel! Not too sure why you would need it. I can read pdf, Word, and Excel files without any sort of program installed on my Droid. If you want the ability to edit, Documents to Go in the Market is a good one and is currently on sale for $9.99. (Usually $29.99.) Hope that helps you out!

I must be doing something wrong as I cannot read pdf on mine. Should the moto droid read it by default?
