Activation warning

Hey guys,

Don't know if this has already been posted but I though I'd put it out there. For those of you getting a TB DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT activate your phone using *228. It will ruin your phone and it cannot be fixed. Except for the fact mine wasn't making calls at first I almost did it. When I went to verizon for help activating the phone they said I probably ruined by phone by dialing *228 (fortunately I didn't since the call never went through).

It's not possible to call *228 from the ThunderBolt or any 4G LTE phone that will come out for that matter.

Hence why your call didn't go through.

I see, then I wish the verizon people would have known that instead of making me think I ruined my phone.

It actually damages the sim card. I posted this a couple weeks ago. I wish you could have seen it. My local store (who was out of thunderbolts) had it posted at every computer after they destroyed like 4 sim cards.
