Accidentally deleted everything in system/apps

I was trying to get fresh list of apps in system/apps after failing all day trying to get the 2.2 update on my droid x. I was stupid enough to try to move everything out of system/apps to sd ard. Then phone went blank and now it's stuck on looping red eye boot. I've tried pulling battery and doing factory reset, but it didn't do anything. The phone would not start and is stuck on the red eye. Am I completely screwed?

I can get to the screen with options of wipe data, wipe cache, load update, and boot. I've tried to wipe data and wipe cache, but no use.

Much appreciated gusy! Trying it right now. Will let you know how it goes.
Hope you have good luck with that.
Since you didn't get the 2.2 OTA tecnically, the sbf flashing should still work for you. A fairly simple process.
Keep us posted as to how it went! :)

Ok so the process went smoothly. I can now get to the activation screen. Apparently Verizon provides full support from 6am to 11pm so it's not giving me the option to activate on the phone. I'll have to wait till tomorrow to try again and give it another shot at the 2.2 update. You guys are saviors!!!! Thank you so much!
