Ability to change vocoder to EVRC-B yet?

Is there a way to change the vocoder to the ERVC-B like we could on our Moto Droids? I've been told I always sound like I'm driving with the windows rolled down even when I'm inside my house.

custom setting. Some have also reported that the custom setting makes them sound crystal clear. Use at your own discretion.

Step 1 – Dial ##7764726 (##PROGRAM) and press SEND
Step 2 – Enter 000000 (six zeros), for the SPC Password and press Verify
Step 3 – Press “04 Vocode”
Step 4 – Press EVRC-B then Apply
Step 5 – The phone should automatically reset a few seconds afterward. If not, power cycle the phone.
Done

This changes how the phone compresses and decompresses the call audio which improves the quality"

edit:To undo just follow steps 1-3 again and instead of pressing EVRC-B select EVRC then apply

You must be misunderstood... Those are the program sequences for the Motorola phones. The Samsung phones cannot use those codes. Samsung uses a different set of codes to access the internal program options vs the one code and menus like Motorola.

I got these directions off another site. I didn't have to do the first part (I just started at **772) but I'm just pasting it in it's entirety in case that was because of my custom roms having unlocked that menu already or something. No comment on call quality as I havent made any calls yet lol.

Go into the Dialer and enter *#83786633 then press the Home key
Go back into the phone dialer and enter *#22745927
Now a box will come up asking for the SPC code. Enter 000000
Press the Hidden menu Enable radio button.


Open the dialer then press
**772
SPC code 000000
The bottom of the screen will have buttons that are directional like a d-pad.

Press down until you see:
SVC Mode NAM1
End of BASIC NAM
Exit

Press right once you will see EXIT change to MORE
Hit enter
Press Down once and you will See
HomePage VoiceSO
EVRC
Push right button to change to EVRC-B
Hit OK Phone will reboot
