SS and Primes kernel have native extra support. I have 1g ext3 partition no swap. SS allowed me to pick ext4 file system. I am using A2SDGUI (in market). Files and dalvic cache on sdcard. Oncce I picked ext4 filesystem a2sd install script ran with no issues.
Ahh OK. So I can just do a convert ext4 command then run the install command. Didn't know they had the scripts preinstalled. Good deal. Thanks for the info. That helps alot.

Upon attempting it on SS5.5, after installing DT's 126.96.36.199 Beta 4 I now had force close under Chevy's Tools and a2sd scripts would not work due to "no kernel support for ext filesystem". Anyone got a runthrough as to what exactly I should do to get a2sd functioning on any other rom other than MIUI.
What kernel are you using?
I am using Primes deprimed, he also has a pre-install script I had forgotten to mention. I will see if I can find it and get back to you...
Here is a link to the Link2sd-preinstall zip from Prime. I seem to remember I had to use this to get the ext partition to mount. If ext4 did not work try ext3 in SS file/systems. I had to flash back to SS to see exactly what I did. I do not recall having to jump through any hoops for it to work. The only rom I had any issues getting it to work was PE6.5 as there is not native support.
