A thought on DX roms

I've tried most of the so called blurless roms
and most work ok but have some wonky bugs
after taking a little time and diving into the stock OTA 2.2
it seems to me and my medium level programing knowledge that motorola has
put BLUR very deep into the functions of the phone.

so by removing all of blur or even large sections of blur their code seems to
reply on system checks. meaning one aspect of blur looks for other blur programing in the phone. IE i believe the camera blur app has code placed in files outside of the blur camera.apk making a blurless phone act funny.
would make sense to protect their custom UI by writing syntax calls into every aspect of blur.

again just my thoughts on this I could be wrong.

Also

I have been playing around with my rooted and deodexed OTA 2.2

and i have been able to disable blur aspect that I did not want
by renaming the apks to apk.bak and this seems to speed the phone up as those features are not activated and it leaves any blur syntax calls intact for the blur features i want to use. and the phone has no bugs as of yet

again I just renamed to apks to .apk.bak in system/app and system/framework

for those of you having double SMS's and funky time stamps you can disable the Mms.apk by renaming it apk.bak
that stoped the double MMS/sms issue
