3G going in and out

Anyone know of any reason that my 3G would all of a sudden stop working off and on? I've had my Droid for nearly 2 months now, and all of a sudden today, I'm switching down to 1G instead of 3G. This is in places I go all the time, like my house. It just seems odd that it today is the first time it has done it. Thoughts anyone?

this has always happened to me since day one.sitting in the same room. one second it 3G the next its 1G. its one of my biggest gripes about the droid.

Ive had mine do it once in the house but not anything crazy. I decided to use my wifi at home awhile back so only use 3g on the go now.
