3D blur and lockscreen

would it be possible to port any of the new blur 3d animations or the lockscreen in addition to whats already been ported? or would this run too choppy? the blur launcher on the dx2 seems to run much smoother than my dx but im guessing that its the dual core processor and not any software tweaks.
