Is there any way to get the old swype colors back instead of the white keypad?

Indeed. I miss the 2.1 style board as well. I would love to get it back.

I've noticed this as well... the black keypad was much easier to see.. the white one is lame

Hmm i tried this but end up getting stuck at step 1. I dont have the option to uninstall swype on my phone. Its there but its greyed out so i cant 'click' on it. Man i really liked the way swype used to look i hate this white keyboard looks hella lame.

I had the same experience. No option to uninstall and re-install. Would really like to have the old keyboard back.
