2.1 update problem with market

I am asking this for a friend. She just updated to 2.1 OTA. Now she says she can't download anything from the market. Any ideas on what she should do?

Hmmm. She didn't root the phone or anything? That seems odd. I am downloading things left and right after the 2.1 OTA.

She could start by calling Verizon I guess.
