Talked to Verizon last night and all they wanted to do was reset the whole phone but being in AK I cannot do that because AK is on an extended network so the *228 doesn't work up there. I did reset the date in the settings menu then powered it down, took out the battery, came back up in the safe mode, verified date, then powered back on in regular mode and it seems to be ok on the date now. Still can't call out tho...hmmm???
