    Purchasing Apps from the Market

I understand your point. Although, in the last 2 years, I've had my paypal account stolen twice, before I decided to cancel it and only use the one time payment service if I have to. In the same 2 years, I've never had an issue with Google Checkout yet :) Either way, people have credit cards...

    Purchasing Apps from the Market

With that in mind, I would always trust Google Checkout more than going straight through a developer :)

    Purchasing Apps from the Market

Your money goes to Google, who then pays the Developer. It is as secure as secure can be. If you don't trust using your information online, use a prepaid card, or don't buy stuff online

No, the experiment did not work. Something about the ribbons I believe.

    Netflix Now Available.

Funny how my 1.2ghz OG Droid running Android 2.3.4 is considered ancient by so many... I haven't found a reason to upgrade this "ancient" beast yet :)

Want to see Droid system drive on PC

    Gingerbread vs. Froyo!

I have more memory left over using GB Roms than Froyo Roms. So you're right, it isn't bloated. The only issue I've had is aggressive memory handling and 3G drops after phone calls. With the latest batch of GB Roms from Liquid and Actngrezy, neither of these have been an issue. I went back to...

    Disappearing Apps

I replaced the card, and was able to copy the old card over. I tried everything beforehand including a complete wipe and starting from scratch. Everything is fine now, still a mystery as to what happened though

    Disappearing Apps

I can read/write other files on my card just fine. And there are a few apps still running fine off the sd card. Would that be possible if the card was going bad? I've had cards fail with other devices before, it was always all or nothing though. Just trying to determine if buying a new card...

    Disappearing Apps

I'm running Project Elite 4.2. Today a large section my apps seemingly uninstalled themselves, the blank default icon remains on my home screen, but the actual apps are uninstalled. I tried reinstalling from the market, but the phone reboots when it begins to install. I tried restoring one...

    [ROM UPDATE]v5, v5.0.1 to 5.0.2

There are manafacturing differences between components. Why did my first Droid have a crackling speaker from the 1st day, but my replacement did not? Why can some Droids run ultra low voltage kernels on a stock rom with no apps installed, and other Droids cannot? Believe it or not, phones do...
