Jelly Bean for Droid 4 is OFFICIAL!!!!

First of all I assume the counter is just something they will look at to try and build some statistics on their users, not something they will use to decide if your warranty is void. Now, onto to the phone, my brother has the D4, and he'd be delighted to hear that JB is coming!

HTC Reiterates Via FB That Desire S, Tbolt & Other Devices Will Get ICS End Of August

The TB is also single core.... Not to be a dick, but you have no idea how the updates work. Google released ICS last year, its taken HTC and Verizon this long already to get it out. It will release by the end of the month... Problem is, many TBs have crapped out multiple times and been...

Are you still happy with your Thunderbolt?

The TB sucks. My battery life has been crappy since i got it, the phone is heavy, the screen is not scratch resistant at all... Needless to say, I will not be buying HTC again. I'm actually leaning towards iPhone 5 unless the Razr HS comes thru.

Super-Powered Mystery Verizon HTC Device Benchmarked; 1080p Display & More

HTC? As a former Thunderbolt owner I am going to warn all of you to stay away. They don't update their phones, their "gorilla glass" seems to be plain glass, and the battery lasts .223 seconds before it dies....

    Blown away

Would you rather they be pimple-faced kids wearing Tap-Out shirts? I have never in my life heard of someone NOT liking professionals because of their professional attire! So this is a first!! Seriously, I don't get it. Obviously it bothered you though, you posted about it on a forum.

Has the battery life been announced or did I miss it?

Being that it is LTE (known battery drain) and 4.65" I would say that battery life is somewhere between non-existent and Thunderbolt. So if you are cool with making one phone call before recharging, this may be your phone!!! I don't understand for the life of me why they don't follow Apple's...

Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Launched!

I'm not putting anyone down, I said you must not have bothered to read it, not that you can't comprehend... The link I posted tells why they used the chip, so its not speculation. This is supposed to be a "news" feed right? Not propoganda. So I'm spreading the news that this isn't even as fast...

Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Launched!

There is nothing "so-called " about it, it is a 3 year old gpu, and yes Samsung had a reason... did anyone read what I posted? It clearly says the TI chip in the Galaxy Nexus is not compatible with the SGX543. Google forced them to use TI over exynos since TI is official Android partner right...

Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Launched!

The Motorola Droid does not have Motoblur it is pure Android. Even the Moto phones with blur get updates. D2, D3, D2G, DX, DX2 and DroidPro all have GB to my knowledge, and the original Droid made it to Froyo... I don't know what more you could want! Honestly they have supported their phones the...

Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Launched!

I'll just leave this here... "It is because of the OMAP4460 processor that the Galaxy Nexus will only have the PowerVR SGX540 GPU, an antiquated beast from 2007 that can actually be found underneath the hood of last year’s Nexus S, and in the Droid Bionic. The SGX540 is very weak compared to...

Official Galaxy Nexus Specs Unveiled Ahead of Event

I am certain that GPS triangulates your altitude anyway!!! So WTH? Samsung just piled unneeded crap into an underwhelming phone to make it less underwhelming? The rumors about two Galaxy Nexus' being in existence with the weaker going to VZW are apparently true, except the more powerful phone...

Official Galaxy Nexus Specs Unveiled Ahead of Event

So what's the GPU??? Is it the SGX543 that's in the 4s??? If it doesn't have a really sweet GPU, I see this as a fail. *Edit* NVM, found it. "It is because of the OMAP4460 processor that the Galaxy Nexus will only have the PowerVR SGX540 GPU, an antiquated beast from 2007 that can actually...

Samsung Dealt 3 Blows in Apple Case: Banned in Australia, Looks Bad in U.S. & More

This x1000. Remember Blackdroid v. Cyanogen? (Kang-gate) The truth is that Apple could devise a cure for cancer and some people would try to find a way to bash them, no one seems to be able to admit that TouchWiz is a blatant rip-off, and no one seems to give them the credit they deserve...

Motorola Confirms Via Twitter that Droid RAZR will Have a Locked Bootloader

Motorola's customer is VZW, you are VZW's customer It will be rooted, and that's all that really matters anyway. I think the phone looks awesome! That battery life and form factor push it ahead of the Prime IMO, and lets be honest Samsung's build quality sucks, Moto's does not.

Samsung Dealt 3 Blows in Apple Case: Banned in Australia, Looks Bad in U.S. & More

You guys are using the whole "rectangle" thing as a straw-man argument. The physical design may be one part (and possibly the weakest part) of why Apple is in this battle with Samsung, but obviously TouchWiz is the real issue. If Samsung would just release the products with vanilla Android...

Who's waiting for the Nexus / Droid Prime?

Now, there is some allure for a small segment of the population (us) to something that is not living up to its technical specifications. Back in the old days we were called tinkerers.... Someone like me for example may be able to extract a little something extra from the superior (spec wise)...
