Contest/Giveaway: myCharge RazorMax 6,000 mAh Portable Charger & More!

*Contest Entry* I'd have to say that my favorite device of all time was the OG Droid, which got me started with android. It is where I discovered the root scene and the android community in general, including DroidForums. It also had great developer support which is also a huge plus.

So I've decided to stop using my Nexus 6 and purchase a 6P but I have a couple questions

Sorry, Jonny that was my fault. Wrong quote clearly.

So I've decided to stop using my Nexus 6 and purchase a 6P but I have a couple questions

I understand your points and the facts that you mentioned, which I appreciate, but you also painted me out to be some slimeball trying to take advantage of someone else - which I'm not. I've been a Verizon/Alltel/Centel customer for 20+ years. I'm not concerned with failed payment or screwing...

So I've decided to stop using my Nexus 6 and purchase a 6P but I have a couple questions

I never said I couldn't afford it. Thats not the issue. I was just trying to make the best financial decision in order for me to save the most money. It's not rocket science. I made this thread to get people's opinions on the idea as I have heard numerous others have done it without issue.

So I've decided to stop using my Nexus 6 and purchase a 6P but I have a couple questions

So after all of the positive reviews and my constant need to get a new phone every year, I've decided to get a 6P. I did, however, have a question about possibly using my upgrade at Verizon (last phone on contract was the 2013 Moto X so im off contract at the moment) to purchase a iPhone 6S...

    Why so little chatter?

There's also just a lot more choice now in terms of different devices for people to choose from. That, in addition to a plethora of more outlets for Android enthusiasts to express their opinions (such as blogs, other forums, etc.).

Droid Turbo 2 vs the Nexus 6P

I've read of some rumblings that best buy may be selling the device at some point, but there hasn't been any sort of announcement to let us know one way or the other. We will just have to wait and see.

Endure A 10 Second Verified Boot Screen On The Nexus 5X or 6P If You Root Your Device!

It has gotten to the point of being beyond obnoxious how many threads are created over on XDA about people doing this exact thing. I couldn't agree more with your post.

Endure A 10 Second Verified Boot Screen On The Nexus 5X or 6P If You Root Your Device!

Yeah I'm fully aware of how easy it is to lock/unlock the bootloader. I'm not concerned with wiping data. I'm more concerned about altering the /system partition and then relocking the bootloader while the /system partition is altered. If the bootloader is locked, and something gets screwed...

Endure A 10 Second Verified Boot Screen On The Nexus 5X or 6P If You Root Your Device!

Seems like to me, if I'm rooted, I would want to keep the bootloader unlocked just to avoid running the risk of legitimately bricking my device should anything with root go bad. That way, worst case scenario, a simple flash of the factory images would get you back up and running.

Your Fast Chargers Are Useless With The Nexus 5X and 6P

Is there any sort of substantial proof that this is legitimate? I understand the concern, but even after owning multiple quick charge 2.0 devices, I have yet to see my battery deplete on any of them at all. To be honest, the battery on my Nexus 6 has held up better than any other device's...

Betcha ain't seen one of these in a while

    OG Droid >Droid 2>Droid Pro>Droid X>Galaxy Nexus>2013 Moto X>2014 Moto X>Nexus 6 for me. I have enjoyed them all.

SuperSU 2.50 Roots Android 6.0 Marshmallow!

I'm well aware. I've been rooting my Android devices since the OG droid. Regardless, if root is that important to you, simply flashing a stock kernel with a couple small tweaks seems like a pretty minor inconvenience to me. Obviously Google has been pretty up front about their recent efforts...

SuperSU 2.50 Roots Android 6.0 Marshmallow!

I haven't had any issues obtaining root. I flashed TWRP, a stock kernel that allows root from XDA, and su 2.50. I never once saw the corrupt boot notification and had no issues unencrypting.

    Test the Nexus 6P

It's not being sold in stores yet (if ever) so you don't really have the option to try it out currently.

Smartphone Camera Reviews at DxOMark Share Some Surprising Top Devices

They aren't the same. The Turbo camera has more megapixels (21 on the turbo and 13 on the Nexus 6), but the Nexus 6 has OIS, which the turbo does not.

Android Powered Blackberry Priv (Venice) is Officially Announced

I'm definitely considering it, but it would be hard for me to give up the ability to flash/have access to Google's factory images.
