How to fully backup Droid 4

Well, it's like if I need to get a new phone or hard reset this one, I'd like to be able to just reinstall the copy of how this phone is setup right this moment (since it can take a long time). So, from what I understand from what you said, I'm assumig I can do thay just from TiB. I'll be giving...

How to fully backup Droid 4

Sorry that the last couple of lines came out terrible. Using the forum via website from my XYboard totally sucks when it comes to editing text. But really, thank you for your suggestions. I really know so little about this cool hacking stuff.

How to fully backup Droid 4

I have TiB Pro, but don't know if its backup capabilities (which I have yet to know and master) are as good or better than a full copy of my phone's actual state. I just want what's best, even if I need to spend some more green and energy (just to avoid spending another couple hours setting...

How do you kill the backup assistant??

Yeah, I froze all the safe-to-freeze VZW bloatware with TB—being rooted, of course.

How to fully backup Droid 4

Hey, guys! I tried backing up my phone's apps and settings using Clockwork Mod's ROM Manager, but I don't think it's yet compatible with the Droid IV. I'd like to back up as much as I can—even all the app settings, if possibe. I'm hoping someone here will kindly shed some light in the matter...

Droid 4 with no more root access still has a useless SU (Superuser) app

Okay, thanks. I'll keep that in mind. At the moment I'll first work on the basics; then, as time allows, I'll check it out.

Droid 4 with no more root access still has a useless SU (Superuser) app

I'm a caveman when it comes to doing things like that. I've always assumed that what's originally on the phone is best, but if I learn what other Roms can do for me, heck!, I might give it a shot! As of now what I mainly wanted is to keep freezing the bloat/crapware that comes with the phone...

    ICS Root Tool

Gosh! After hours of trying to restore and re-root my D4, this thread became the cherry on the pie (since I couldn't root with another one-click method). Thanks once more, Orangechoochoo! :icon_ banana:

Droid 4 with no more root access still has a useless SU (Superuser) app

I was closer to being done with the one you suggested, so I went all the way through. Now the phone seems to be clean and fully stock (no more SU app, finally!) , but now the problem is I can't re-root...

I'm back after all this time. Thanks for your help. I'm trying RSDLite with no luck (something's wrong), but I'll try to give your tool a try. Thanks again.

[HOW TO] Restore your Motorola Droid 4 (XT894) to stock [Windows Only]

I ignore how you can tell whether your phone is recognized by RSD, but I'll download that, see if it helps me. Thanks!

Can't restore Droid 4 to stock! SU app is still there with no root access! Help!

Orange Choochoo, in case you are able to kindly help again: This 12th step is driving me nutz! I'm stuck at this step, because I can't find that famous "fastboot image .zip file"! I was, however, able to decompress something similar, this: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My...

Can't restore Droid 4 to stock! SU app is still there with no root access! Help!

Hey, guys! I've tried several times the hard factory data reset with no luck. I just want to start from scratch (actual scratch, without the SU app) and re-root. This SU app has remained since after the ICS OTA update without the phone even having root access anymore after then. Any links to...

Droid 4 with no more root access still has a useless SU (Superuser) app

It's taking me forever to get this done. I hope you're still around. As of now I'm downloading an "ICS Fastboot" file (or whatever it is) that I found in these same forums (http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-4-roms/220480-ics-fastboot.html#post2231576). I just don't know exactly how do I go...

Droid 4 with no more root access still has a useless SU (Superuser) app

But now that I see "5.", it reads, "Boot in Motorola Recovery"... so I'm not sure how will I go about accomplishing what I intend to accomplish.

Droid 4 with no more root access still has a useless SU (Superuser) app

What I'd like to try with your tool is: Since it says it'll remove the superuser app, which is what I can't get rid of in order to reroot. I'm mainly trying to do as least as possible to get the job done, hoping to avoid messing up the phone.

Droid 4 with no more root access still has a useless SU (Superuser) app

I don't know if you're still around; I was wondering if you had to do some sort of a backup of your settings (I'd love to do mine on Titanium Backup, but it needs root access, which I obviously don't have, although the SU app is still in my phone).
