for the z4root app there is a unroot button. if i installed a custom rom, would i have to go back to the backup of the stock i installed then unroot if i want it to be fully unrooted or can i just unroot in the custom rom.

double.. you can do a search on youtube and theres a vid on how to use z4root. I "think" if you use the un-root option it puts it all back to stock.

If you don't have a custom ROM installed, it will take you back to stock. I'm rooted, no custom ROM

ok thanks, anything else i have to do before i unroot? all i would do that i know of so far is to use rom manager and restore the stock backup i made then i would use the titanium backup to restore the apps and settings i have backed up then i would just click unroot on z4root. do i have to unflash the clockwork recovery i already have now or any other things?

If u have your stock rom saved as a backup just flash that and unroot with that z4root program
