So today I ordered the Z3+ from UK retailer.. I should have it by Friday or weekend hopefully.. got it sim free for use on AT&T... some initial thoughts are how will I like the screen and size... as most here know me. I like large screens.. I'm not planning on ditching my Nexus 6... I truly enjoy the Nexus experience and I promised myself to always have one available.. Haha... Snapdragon 810 is it an issue? we shall find out soon enough.. Sony UI how does it compare to LG /Samsung/Moto.. this will be my first one.. No QHD screen does it make a difference? Battery - will it be just as good as what I've heard on previous models.. anyhow I will keep y'all posted....

Hope you like it and looking forward to your review of it.

I stopped by Verizon yesterday and tried to get some info about switching plans. Asked the rep about the z4v and he had no idea there was a Verizon version (hah! not surprised) coming. I did mess around with the z3v though and really liked it. The z4v should be quite the improvement over it too I bet.

Haha no surprise with that is right.. they don't usually know about upcoming devices.. what plan are you on now? I didn't realize I picked the 1-3 day delivery from UK and it's in New Jersey scheduled late evening tomorrow...

On a shared 700min plan with the family. Thinking of switching to More Everything 10GB plan. We use maybe 5-6GB total as a family, but in the end would save only about $11/mo + upfront costs. The debate now is whether I want to spend the money on the full retail price of the z4v or just upgrade with Edge.

Sweet. Hopefully it shows up tomorrow for ya.

I think 10GB for $80 is the way to go.. and with Edge you pay $15 per smartphone instead of $40 on contract...

Yeah I'm still debating whether I want to hang onto my unlimited or not. Though the last 6mo I haven't used any more than 1.5GB. Everywhere I frequent has wifi.

I'm just thinking long term about it with Android Auto up and coming. I'm definitely leaning more towards Edge, but got about another week to debate.

And $15 per smartphone? It was explained to me at the store (and I did punch some numbers here with another member) that it's $40 each line on More Everything plan at least. I still gotta figure out the numbers for Edge, didn't get a chance to go over that with the rep in store.
