I wonder how long it will before they raise the price for the older subscribers.

I have been a cord cutter for about 10 years and I would consider getting yt. but because of my work schedule, I prefer to watch shows on demand and it would be a waste of money to subscribe to it. fortunately CW has their own streaming service and it's free since those are the shows I most watch.

    Agree

But I actually moved to yt tv for my cw shows. You can hdr your shows and watch it wherever. Now how it it different than the CW app?

Well you can't beat the cw app being free, but I can fast fwd through the commercials with yt tv. Plus I can record other shows that aren't on cw like gifted.

I do have a concern with YT TV though, look I'm glad they added more channels as it is making it even easier to refer. But my concern with them is the same concern I had now the studios realized "streaming" is the thing.

YT TV is looking to raise their prices by a few bucks. If it stays there great but about time you add high speed internet, Netflix, and now $40 YT TV, as Netflix keeps going up almost every year now, we are inching closer to what you paid for cable. Except with cable I'm getting 200+ channels. ($40 high speed internet + 12 Netflix + 40 for YT TV)

Like many, I cut the cord because I hardly watch tv other than sports and a few shows. Between Netflix and YT TV I'm getting the few channels I watch and not paying cable prices, as for now.

I believe eventually streaming prices will be no different than cable. prices will be going up every few months, get locked out because of contract disputes and the additional problem with data caps.
