I guess I was an unlucky one :(

My re-certified Droid 1 lags like crazy and force closes all the time. Hard reset and factory reset multiple times now. But no headphone jack issue!

Also, there were talks about a "loose screen" issue. the top left corner of my screen seems to have a good amount of play to it, so much as whenever I'm typing it taps like crazy against the phone body. If I wanted a screen that moves, I would have kept my Storm 1. Checking around with the 4 or 5 coworkers that have Droids as well, this is unique to my phone.

Is this the same issue as others were having with their "loose screen issue"?

I knew I wasn't crazy! My new keyboard is completely flat! My old keys were more defined than the new ones :icon_eek:

I got my certified good as new Incredible yesterday.....we'll see how she goes.... I thought I was getting a brand new phone. This one is my 3rd incredible. The first one didn't charge out of the box....the last one was great untill it updated, and no longer got 3G or wireless.

I had an interesting conversation with one of the reps today regarding the replacement policies. At one point he stated Verizon has one of the replacement policies because they don't ever charge you for a warranty replacement, whereas many other carries do. I agreed that was nice, but commented that it seemed pretty clear the money they're spending to ship/replace phones with charging was made up in reduced labor costs - rather than have an employee evaluate and QA the phones, they make it the responsibility of the customer to have to complain about this issues that would have otherwise been found. There's no upfront customer cost, but instead a lot of time and frustration. He had no comment on that.

When I asked about my options for getting a different phone, he said the only time you could get a different phone was when your phone was out of stock. Just for fun I asked what phone I could get if the Droid was out of stock, and he told me probably and LG Ally, however in his 5 years working their he's never had a replacement be out of stock (must have been on vacation at the end of august...). I laughed to myself and went on to reluctantly accepted another CLNR.

Yep. The entire left side of my like new replacement has an annoying amount of give to it and taps against the body of the phone. Besides that, my replacement phone is working great. I thought I might be able to live with it, but it's become too annoying, so I called in and have another replacement on the way.

Yeah, I do not like the keyboard. It is odd sort of and harder to type with because all the keys feel as if they are a single unit.

I'm pretty sure the keyboard will bubble up a bit over time. I bought a new Droid back in February, and the keyboard was completely flat like the replacement devices that are going out now (I just got one myself a few days ago). After a few months, they had bubbled up a bit and were much easier to use.
