That was the text message I just received from Verizon. HHmmmm, I am still showing 2.1!

I highly doubt it would show up on your end until you check Settings>About Phone>System Updates.

Let me know how it goes.. Ive been waiting patiently for this update..... hopefully soon... VERY SOON!

People with the D1 and DInc are also reporting texts today from VZW about 2.2 being available.
They don't seem to be checking what version we have - they seem to be doing some sort of 2.2 text campaign.

Though I'm wondering why they are sending that to a DX. Do you have another Android on your account?

There are new rumors that 2.2 is about to be released OTA - so they're probably true.

On my account I've had the D1, Devour, DInc, and DX on my account and now I'm back with the DInc. They didn't send me nothing.
