Got my droid rooted...BBed...and Overclocked! All thanks to Matth3ws thread!

    Few ?s though...

    1) can I get rid of all the junk I used to install everything? When I first booted with BB it said my internal was low and I noticed a bunch of new apps I hadn't loaded it the process of loading BB.

    2) How do I load an .apk specific to a rooted droid?

    3) I think I read somewhere that OTAs will screw up the rooting...if so...how do I stop getting OTAs?

    1. I would leave all that alone

    2. The rooted app you download will be fine and nothing special will have to be done

    3. If you are rooted, you will not get the invitation to get 2.1 from what I gather.

    1. Yes you can remove the files like, flash_image, recovery-0.9.2b.img, then all the BB stuff (update.zip).

    2. What do you mean?

    3. When you installed BB it automatically turns off OTA.

Some ROMs already have OTA turned off but it doesn't hurt to make sure:
Block OTA Updates | Root Your Droid
That will walk you through the steps to make sure OTA is disabled.

You're welcome man. The newest version of SPRecovery and BB 7.4 has OTA updates turned off. For the APK, just put it on the SD card, and use Astro file manager to open it.
