Yay. My overclock kernel works with ESE81.

Nice. Have you noticed any improvements with ese81? I've tried ese53 and ese27, so I'm just wondering if ese81 is any different.

From ESE53? None. I wouldn't be surprised if ESE81 is just ESE53 with the root exploit hole fixed. If anything, ESE81 might be a tad slower.

My kernel at 1ghz was benching at 167ms on ESE53. This hits 210 at the lowest.

Devious google... also, if its slower, I'm no longer thinking I want ese81 custom roms. Stick with 53 :)

Is the battery life any better?

My kernel might be slightly older code, too. Whether that has an effect on performance or not, I don't know. I built it like two weeks ago. ESE81 was built shortly after. I'll recompile another kernel here in the next few days and test it again.

    Should be identical to ESE53.

    I'm getting around 200 benchmarks on chevy's low voltage 1ghz kernel. BB 0.9 ese53.

How would I get them lower at 1ghz?

I dunno. My kernel is nothing special. Just 250/400/600/800/1000 at stock voltage and wifi tether.

Give me your kernel version listed under about phone, and we will compare versions.

My kernel is a different version.

    2.6.29-omap1-g1c56172-dirty chaos@ubuntu#8.

You are welcome to try it, if you want. I'll link it if so.

    Updated my kernel:

    2.6.29-omap1-g7fa87882-dirty chaos@ubuntu#9

This is the same as ESE81. Its a little faster.
