Congrats Gary on a great review on Droid-Life.com...you MUST watch the VIDEO, your browser gets better each week and it's great to be involved with a developer that cares a lot about his app and the people who use it.

Xscope is amazing. I used the free version for a while and now I've bought the full version. I use it for everything, internet browsing, file browsing and task killer.

I've had the XScope, paid version, since the week I got the droid two months ago. It is very stable, easy to use and has the pinch-zoom. One easy swipe gets you to what is running so you can selectively kill an app if you want to. The favorites, tabbed browsing and so much more & it works perfectly.

I had tried the dolphin but only for a couple of hours. Can't recall but there was something that I didn't like. Perhaps it was a default setting that I could have changed but there was something I didn't like with how it looked.

    It's definitely better than Dolphin.

XScope has a simpler UI, but is still very powerful. I tried Dolphin but it's complexity left me just ignoring a number of it's features (because I couldn't quite figure them out).

I took a leap of faith in buying XScope "site unseen" and have been very pleased with it.

    In a word? FAST

    Other than that?
Continuous development and response from the developer.
    Smooth scrolling
    VERY infrequent FC's
Did I mention that it is really fast?

Xscope is an awesome browser. It fixed my problem with not being able to connect to the wifi hotspots at Barnes and Noble. With both dolphin and the default browser I couldn't get past the welcome page. I was playing around with Xscope and saw that it had a setting to act like an iPhone, doubted it'd make a difference but B&N wifi is provided by at&t afterall so I gave it a shot. I switched to the iPhone setting and restarted the browser and it took me to a different page, let me accept the terms and agreements and I was in. Its now the only browser I use.
