It is totally coded from scratch. So expect frequent updates lately. A few screenshots. Thank you for your support and enjoy.

Just updated from the market. Truly awesome job on this one guys, every nagging issue I had previously with the UI has been overhauled, and it's FAST!!! Love the forward/backwards buttons and the hidden tabs

I really dislike xScope 6. I really wish you still had the last version before 6 available in market and put 6 as a beta, but it doesn't seem like it's ready for release. I personally dislike the new UI. It's completely opposite from the prior super clean UI. You barely had to go through any menus to perform typical tasks. Bookmarks, history, and forward were all convenient to use (on the bar, additional buttons to press). Touching the tab quickly closed the tab (if already on that tab). Navigating was smooth and simple.

In xScope 6 if the tabs, address bar, and control bar are out in landscape, it takes one third of the screen up. Even more is taken up with the swiping notification bar out. Also, if you turn off swipe for notification bar, the notification bar will still be there. There's no clean full screen function. Also, even when I did clear my cache, history, cookies, and passwords on exit, The browser would be sucking up 20.2 MBs in the background (and this is if I just opened the browser and messed with the settings; no browsing). If I did any browsing and exited it, it would take up around 50 MBs in the background.

This was *by far* my favorite browser before the 6 update. Now, I'm thinking of just uninstalling. Faster browsing isn't worth huge memory leaks and clunky UIs.

PLEASE re-release the previous version of xScope into the market and work on 6 as a beta until it is perfected.

You know, I am a huge DolphinHD fan myself but this XScope browser does a few things that really pull me in. First, I love the one-finger zoom. It's perfect. Secondly, when you hit the back button it goes to the previous page in a flash with no reloading whereas with DolphinHD it seems to completely reload the previous pages. I am on the fence here... to keep or to refund...

I also don't like the "Trial" watermark. Still can't figure out how to add a new bookmark in this version as some of the icons are tiny, probably to preserve screen space.

This new version is funky. Going to take a little time to get used to but I think I like where it's going.

still warming up to x6 but going to give it a try.

    things i like so far
-hit menu to toggle between full screen and tabs/control bar display
-seems to be faster and smoother?
-back and forward buttons in control bar
-you can press a tab for more options (close, new url, history)

things i dislike so far that were available in old version
-link to favorites not available in control bar.
-url entry not available in control bar
-tap to close tab. i think i liked that better than the current setting which gives you an option to close or enter new url when you tap on the tab.
-control bar in old version used to be scrollable left/right and had access to pretty much all the stuff you needed. url entry, favorites, downloads, etc.

basically there seems to be a few more touches to get to functions that were one press away in the old version. slightly annoying, but i may warm up to it as i use it more.

Like KZIWarrior, I was getting 'Force close' upon app start. Uninstall+reinstall fixed it.
