Xposed Framework is what you need to get custom mods and hacks on your Android device without having to install a full blown rom! To use the Xposed Framework all you have to do is root your phone! That being said, when Lollipop first came out it made development a little bit more difficult than normal since the whole file structure and system layout had been changed. It also made system level changes different. The Xposed Framework team jumped headfirst into development, but it was slow going. For a while we thought that Xposed on Lollipop would not happen at all. A few weeks ago they finally released Xposed Framework for Lollipop 5.0!

Shortly after Xposed was released for 5.0 Google came out with the 5.1 update. This meant that the Xposed team would need to go back to the drawing board and work out the new update for the new version of Android. While they got back to work another developer "romracer" also got to work. He has just released his super alpha version of the Xposed Framework for Android 5.1. This brings the xposed framework to 5.1 for now while the team works on the official version. There are a few known issues with this build of xposed. Head to the link below for the download and install guide.
