Wormux for Android - A Free Worms Clone

If you have been around the computer world as long as I have you undoubtedly remember Worms. Worms was a great game by Team 17 that allowed you to get together with a group of friends and play 4 players all on the same computer. It's turn based and is kind of an updated version of a newer game I loved 'Scored Earth'. Essentially you have worms and you use different weapons to eliminate the other players worms. Simple and addictive.

A new game is out called Wormux that attempts to bring this to the Android platform. It's in the Alpha stage but it's free for now and you can give it a try. I was unable to get it working on my Droid 2, but rumors say it works fine on the Droid 1 and it is confirmed to work on the Nexus One (Thanks Tigger).

See if this helps:

Wormux crashes after loading the map: download graphism.xml and save it to your /sdcard/Wormux/data/ folder; the file wasn't updated in the zip file

Download this fixed file and put in the data folder of your "Wormux" data folder (eg /sdcard/Wormux/data/graphism.xml)

i click download and nothing happens... just brings up the log... how do i save it?

right click the link then save as


also im having he same issue but on the droid 1 in my data folder i have authors.dtd and now the graphism.xml

Same thing on my Droid 1. Kinda bummed out now, I love Worms. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
