Has anyone else tried to use this app? It installed and opens fine but when I try and log in I get a communication error. This is driving me nuts and makes the app completely useless! Thanks!

I use it, and it works fine. Are you using a custom domain? If so, you have to tell the program where your blog specifically is, if it's not in the root folder.

    ie: www.xxx.com/blog

You also have to make sure that XML-RPC Support is turned on in your blog.

On the login screen for the app, I put my URL in which is Kasey.Alexandra's Blog and it still didn't go through. Also, where in the settings is the option to turn on the XML-RPC support. I used the Wordpress app on my BB Curve before switching with no problems.

Oh then maybe you don't need XML RPC support on since its hosted AT wordpress.com -- didn't know it wasn't self hosted.

Are you sure username and password are correct and URL is exactly correct as well?

I know - stupid questions, but everything else should be plug & play.

Yep, I'm sure. It doesn't say failed login or anything. It says
    "Connection Error
    org.xmlpul.v1.XmlPullParserException:unexpected type (position: TEXT XML-RPC server a...@1:42 in java.io.InputStreamReader@434db138"

Oh thank God. I figured it out after doing some research on the support site for Wordpress. I had to insert a different blog url that was xml-rpc friendly. Thanks guys.

I'm liking Wordpress too. Glad you figured out the error. The only thing I wish were different is for drafts on the Droid to be synced with drafts on my computer. You know, drafts should be held on their servers for easy synchronization.

Working as a web designer I have to use Wordpress app and enjoying its features. I think you should check your connection and figure out the errors. It is the world’s most popular blogging software and will allow you to maintain backups and security for your website.
