won't update with out a network

Hello

I recently dropped Verizon and got a note 3 on at&t. But I kept my note 2 well I try and check for updates cause I heard the note 2 has gotten 4.3 but it keeps giving me the error to check for updates go to settings about phone check for updates when network is available. Now they say to download them on wifi well it says that when I'm on wifi so does that mean your actually downloading updates over the Verizon network or does it have to just check the network first before it downloads the update in which case that sucks :-(.

You can update the 2 by plugging it in to your computer as an installer and installing the Verizon software assistant. Run that on the computer and it will download the update off the internet and push it to the phone.
