Wont obtain IP

I have the LG Ally and when i try to connect to my wifi it says obtaining IP adress and then after a little while it says unsucessful. Is there a reason it won't find the IP?

Just somethings to try. First, power down the phone and bring it back up. Try connection again. If that fail's try power cycling the router itself. The post I saw suggested that you disconnect other devices from your router allow your Ally to connect first then plug in your other devices.

I can't guarantee it will work, but it's a start.

Yeah those didn't work.. Thanks for the suggestions though. Anyone have anymore ideas?

Is it a secure connection?

Is the password correct?

What do you mean by secure? Because we have other things connected to the same connection and it should be because the phone remembers it doesn't that mean the password is right..? I'm not really sure
