Just got a new HTC incredible. I was wondering if there was an app or option i was missing that can remedy a relatively small problem ive been having. When texting, oftentimes we make mistakes, with the iphone you had the ability to press and hold on a word and it will magnify the word, enabling you to maneuver between letters and deleting a misspelled word or simply editing it. with the standard keyboard, there are no back arrows or right arrows, nor is there the word magnification available on the iphone. the only option is to touch the screen accurately between the letters that you want to edit, and sometimes that can be a pain. Is there some kind of fix for this? sorry if this doesn't make complete sense. Thanks in advance.

I've never heard of an app for this. I guess you can touch close to where you want the cursor, and then use the trackpad. iPhone doesn't have a trackpad, so I can see why it would have that feature.

I was unable to find an app that fit your scenario. However I have had alot of suggestions directing me towards Better Keyboard and Swype.
