Unknown...Slayher is working on an ASOP ROM, as is CVCP (or is it CPCV?). 
I think AngDroid has an interest in this as well.
Anyway...if they get an ASOP ROM running on the D2, I'd expect they could build a ROM that incorporated at least some of the tweaks and features of CyanogenMod.

Don't hold your breath...If it does happen it will not be for awhile and by then many of us would have moved on to different devices
