Wireless Teather???

    Ok so im going away tomorrow for the weekend and I want to use my laptop in the car and using the wireless teather from my phone. But every time I start the wireless teather I always get this error on the laptop from the wireless teather im assuming! It says it isnt connected to the internet? But whenever I go to look at the wireless networks it comes up "AndroidTeather" How can I get this to work can somebody help me ASAP thanks guys!!!

    couple of things to try:

    Under settings enable wifi encryption....then change the passphrase to what u want and then try logging in from the PC.

    Also when u start the tethering for the first time check allow when the pop up from superuser asks for permission.

    Thanks that worked one more thing, will this cost me money if I use it for 5 hours or so????

    Probably not unless you plan on downloading movies and music etc while tethering.
