Windows won't recognize GB device

Since installing the bamf 2.05 beta I cannot get my Windows pc to recognize the android phone anymore when i plug it in. My htc sync does not work and i can't mount as a disk drive. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I installed the driver posted in the thunderstick Rom forum and no dice. It says connected but it won't recognize the phone is there.

Try this.
Flip on Internet pass Through/done/Count to 5/Hit Disk Drive.

This worked for me on a similar GB rom that wasnt recognizing it.
