Will update.zip from 7.8 bd to 8 wipe system

    i dont feel like re-installing all those apps and settings...so if i do an update zip way from 7.8 to 8 (blackdroid) will it keep all my settings or goon them up?

    As long as you use update.zip it will keep all your setting and apps. I did it this morning and had no trouble at all. One thing I would recommend is to wipe cache. It seems the phone runs smoother if you wipe cache and that has no effect on your settings and data. I would still run a nandroid backup before you install as is always recommended. Good Luck I have enjoyed V8 all day. Have you updated your baseband from the ese53 sbf? I have had great service all day because I did last night. I havent been below four bars of 3G all day woo hoo.
