Currently, that's the ONE thing keeping me away from Bugless Beast. :[
that would be nice, along with some more accurate readings too. i dont know if its just mine or not.
i dont think pete is making a bugless 5 hes done
If you actually read any of his resent posts or checked his twitter, you would know that he is in fact working on BB v0.5. Try not to think on other peoples behalf.
The 10% increments are not going to happen unless Pete starts making his ROMs from source. The vanilla framework does not allow for taskbar battery increments other than 100%, 80%, 60%, 40%, 20%, 10% and 0%. No if's, and's or but's about it.
Alternatively, you can get any number of apps that provide widgets and taskbar notification on battery level, so please stop beating this poor dead horse and just move on.
Oh, and to the OP, if that's the one thing keeping you away from BB, then I truly feel sorry for you.
What is difference between built from source and vanilla framework? Kind of a noob at the terminology... Thanks!
Built from source means built from source code. Instead of trying to backwards engineer the Android OS, they take the source code, make any changes that they want, then compile the code to make the Android OS.
Vanilla means straight ol' Android without any enhancements from 3rd parties like HTC (Sense) or Motorola (Blur). Google actually calls this "Google Experience", everyone else just dubs it Vanilla.
if you want 10% increments and stability try ultimate droid, ive been using it while we wait for .5
Is there anyway to disable the battery indicator built in by BB .04?
:icon_ banana:I agree with Bendystrawboy. Ultimate Droid is a top notch Rom. I know some people on this site don't want to hear about it but, the fact remains, UD is AWSOME!:icon_ banana:
Im running UD right now, But lol, i disagree with your statement. I think you made a typo. "the fact remains, UD is AWSOME" needs to be changed to "My opinion remains, UD is AWESOME"
My CPU usage on my Droid is already at max levels. I'm trying to avoid using any apps that I don't need.
