Hey guys! I finally took the plunge and rooted my 2.1 Droid! The extra features are pretty awedome, but I've got a quick question. I'm trying to use the wifi tether app, and the program is telling me that I don't have the right kernel for tether support. I know in Windows you can modify kernels, so is it possible to do the same with a rooted droid? If so, where can I DL the modified kernels? Thanks!

Yes, same deal. There are a few kernel writers out there, including Bekit and Chevy. They should have their own subforums, so you can get links there.
