I'm a relatively new Droid user. It is a "Motorola Droid" from Verizon. I had an app named WiFi On/Off installed. When I received a notification that thewre was an update available, I initiated the download of the update. It failed to install, but appeared to have partially installed so that it no longer worked. It would not restart the download/install process. I tried to unload the app/widget and that failed too. I presently have a WiFi On/Off icon that does not work on my desktop, along with a message about the failure. So, 2 things that I cannot figure out how to remove. I checked installed apps, and it is not there, but it is on my desktop still. I searched the net and could not find a similar situation. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
