Widget To Display Text File

I was wondering if there is an app that I could download (I have searched) that would allow me to display text from a file in a widget? So I wanted to have a txt file with my work schedule or so some to do list and wanted the contents from within the text file to be displayed in a widget of sorts. I know I could use something like colornotes or something like that however I would rather have a txt file so I could do syncing with multiple computers and whatnot. Anyone can help?
