ok so heres the deal. i just got my droid rooted to saphire 2.2 (thank you to everyone in this forum and droidlife.com) so i started experimenting with wifi-tethering but i ran into being able to connect to a network (using both barnacle and android-wifi-tether) but i couldnt get any internet access. i have followed all of the guidelines on running with windows 7 and running specific to my phone (which is obviously the droid) but i still cannot get any internet. so, could someone help me? it might just be something involving kernels so if anyone can explain that, it would be great and you dont need to dumb it down ill understand it i just havent the slightest clue where to start with it

hey i never was able to get barnacle to work. however with android tether, all you gotta do is rename the SSID to something other then AndroidWIFI or whatever it is and it works great..
