why won't .wmv movies work?

According to the specs, it should work, but it doesn't play. Any help would be nice.. yes, i did a forum search and didnt quite get what i was looking for..

WMA is WIndows Media Audio, which is supported. WMV is WIndows Media Video, which is not supported.

I think it's the other way around. I can view WMV video from an email (just can't save it) and can not play audio from my Magicjack VM messages.

I just posted the official specs from the Motorola website.

The WMV files from your email are most likely streaming files, located on a website, which results in a different way of accessing the files (streaming).
