Why is my google maps not in 3d?

I've even searched for locations in New York and nothing shows up in 3d. Everything is labelled just nothing is raised in elevation. Is there a setting I have to turn on? I uninstalled maps and reinstalled as well. Any help would be great.

Mine was in 3D but I was trying to get it to get my true location and it went from 3d to 2d. Or is it 1D? I'd like to know too.

I got it to work in Los Angeles, but not even New Meadowlands stadium in New York works. Very few select places currently apparently.

Yes. Only select cities for now. Within those cities you must zoom in to bottom and it will appear

I agree, somethings not right with mine either, I can't get 3D anywhere and the gestures are not working properly, twisting for example does nothing yet I can go to Google maps and do everything correctly.

Odd.

I bet you guys aren't zooming in far enough, you have to be zoomed in to 200 ft before they appear.

It works for downtown Chicago so I'm pleased.
