Is using a low voltage kernel bad for the phone? I don't want to use it unless its safe for the phone. I use blackdroid V8

Could anyone else explain this? I don't understand voltages as well.

In my signature is the link to the articles I am doing concerning over clocking the Droid. The second post should have a link to my voltage 101 write up.

Low voltage is the best for your phone, if I understand correctly. Lower voltage means lower temps. Medium voltage is recommended because not all of our cpus are created equally. Those of us with cpus on the lower end of the manufacturers spectrum may have issues running low voltage kernals. I flashed chevys 1.25 low voltage kernel today, no issues and my droid is cold as ice now =D Don't take it from me though, check out that write up from skull.

Low voltages do mean lower temps, but it can also mean less stability when overclocked.
