Why doesnt XDA developers have a Droid subforum?

    you mean as in Moto DROID or as in Android?

    it's because XDA is HTC-centric. the N1 and Eris are both HTC phones.

    I meant the Motorola A855/Droid. Yeah I saw that.. they have Samsung and other various brands there.. but no Motorola. I was hoping to find a resource with specific development discussion for the droid.

    I guess the N1 is the closest equivalent being that its 2.1 and the droid is 2.0.1

    samsung was a sore point for the forums. i haven't cared to go there since dumping winmo. there was a huge push to get omnia support, but the owners wanted nothing to do with it. i was surprised to see anything at all.

    still, they prefer to keep it HTC, so don'thold your breath.
