Why does the Tbolt transmit data every time it wakes up?

Every time I wake my Tbolt up from standby, I notice that it transmits data. Does anyone know why this happens and if there is any way to stop it from occurring?

It's probably syncing...is this necessarily a bad thing?

If I'm relying on push services to bring my data in, there should be no need to sync every time it wakes up. My thoughts are that this is just another battery draining task.

Are you stock? There are battery draining leaks, like with the Blockbuster app.

I think you can go into the settings of that app and turn off updates.

There might be additional apps doing similar, but I don't know.

Yes... stock for now. Still debating using custom Roms since this is a work device.

I hear ya. If/when I get a company phone I won't mod it.
